Hey there, Monte Nido neighbors!
Are you a member of a three-generation Monte Nido family? Have you witnessed living in this neighborhood from one generation to another? If so, we want to honor YOU as the Grand Marshals for the upcoming 2023 4th of July Parade!
We Want to Celebrate YOUR Story!
The heart and soul of any community lie in the stories of its residents. That's why we want to recognize those families who have deep roots in Monte Nido, spanning multiple generations. Whether you raised your children here and now they are raising their children in our mountain village, or your parents moved to Monte Nido and you have carried on the tradition with your children, or perhaps a grandparent has moved here to be closer to your children and you — your story matters to us!
Participating in the Parade
We invite you to join us in celebrating the spirit of community and the bonds that tie us all together. As the Grand Marshals, you will have the opportunity to walk, ride, roll, or stand along the parade route, as symbols of the rich family histories in Monte Nido.
Not All Members Need to Be Currently Living In Monte Nido
We also understand that not all three generations may be living in Monte Nido at once. Even if you have family members who are frequent visitors or if they reside elsewhere, we would still love to acknowledge your unique connection to this special place. After the parade, we invite you to join us at the picnic, where we'll gather to celebrate, acknowledge you, and enjoy each other's company.
Mobility Access For All Honored Guests
The Grand Marshals don’t have to gather together as a group. To ensure that everyone feels included, please provide transportation such as a stroller, golf cart, classic car, float, or any other means for family members with mobility issues. We want everyone to have the opportunity to be a part of this memorable day!
Get Your Badge and Make It Official
To make things official, please see Kyle or Alicia at the start of the parade to receive your Grand Marshal badge, which will distinguish you as the honored guests of the event.
