Paramount Ranch currently has limited access due to construction, so the 36th edition of “Silents Under the Stars” will take place at the nearby King Gillette Ranch. As the ranch encompasses the former home of director Clarence Brown (1890-1987), we will feature two silent films directed by him featuring two of the screens most iconic stars.
The feature film THE EAGLE (1926) Starring Rudolph Valentino and Vilma Banky. Directed by Clarence Brown with United Artists studio.
A Russian lieutenant becomes a masked vigilante to avenge the man who stole his family’s land until he meets his beautiful daughter.
All films will feature live musical accompaniment by Michael Mortilla and will be presented in the courtyard outside the visitor center.
Guided walking tours of the grounds will begin at 6:30pm.
The Visitor Center will remain open until 7:30pm.
Showtime is 7:30 PM.

Free parking. Tickets are free with seating available on a first-come, first-served basis.
The King Gillette Ranch includes structures designed for razor magnate King C. Gillette in the 1920s by Wallace Neff, architect of California’s Golden Age.
