Make a Super Bloom-Themed Float for the Parade. Win a Prize!

You can build a float on a wagon, a bike, a golf cart, a car, or just get a few friends and neighbors and celebrate the theme with costumes and your own creative take on the theme! The only limit is your imagination!

Here's a video a Monte Nido resident created to help get us inspired featuring Monte Nido parades of the past.

Or you can let the theme inspire your attire for the day!

Volunteers Needed to Help!

The July 4th Parade and Picnic is 100% created and run by volunteer residents. This is a labor of love and community. The more volunteers we have, the more smoothly the day will go. We always welcome general volunteers to help with everything from slicing watermelon to playing music or joining the clean-up crew. Itโ€™s also a great way to get to know your neighbors! This event is for us BY us! Please consider lending a hand! (Email july4th@montenido.org Attn: Stephanie C.)

ATTEND THE NEXT VOLUNTEER MEETING THIS THURSDAY NIGHT TO FIND OUT HOW YOU CAN HELP!

Become a Member and Help Fund Future Events!

There is no charge to attend and participate but it is not freeโ€ฆ. The cost for hiring the CHP to assist with traffic control has tripled in recent years. We pay for insurance, porta-potties, and prizes. And, as we all know, even the price of eggs for tossing has skyrocketed. Raffle and bake sale proceeds offset some of the expense, MNVCA annual dues allow us to cover the rest. If you havenโ€™t already done so this year, please, consider joining. Only $75 (payment info is on montenido.org.) Itโ€™s the easiest way to contribute to your community. ๐Ÿ˜Š

A sincere THANK YOU from the Monte Nido Valley Community Association.

Canโ€™t wait to see you on the Fourth of July! ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ
